Chris began his career in the fitness industry, working in downtown Toronto as a personal trainer and boxing coach in 1998. He enjoyed working in strength and conditioning and rehabilitation so much, that he began looking for more structured ways to help people with physical training or rehabilitation needs. Soon after he started his education at the University of Toronto and eventually transferred to Sheridan College’s highly competitive Athletic Therapy Program. In 2007, Chris graduated with an Bachelor of Applied Health Science Degree, specializing in Athletic Therapy. Chris’s training includes strategies for: acute sports injury management, rehabilitation, regenerative and restorative care,  injury prevention, strength and conditioning, and athletic development. His clinical training includes the use of therapeutic modalities such as ultra-sound, TENS, IFC, neuromuscular stimulation, low level laser, cryo-therapy, thermal therapy, athletic taping and bracing, and kinesio-taping.  These modalities may be used in combination with other forms of therapy to optimize healing and recovery, depending of the condition.
